The Indian junior men’s boxing squad will return home in the early hours on Tuesday (23rd April 2013) after putting up a good show at the ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championship in Shymkent, South Kazakhstan. Out of the four pugilists that made it to the penultimate round of the championship, former Sub-Junior National Champion Prayag Chauhan (60kg) bagged the light weight Asian title by winning the gold medal. Vishnu Dayanand Chayal (57kg), a two time former sub junior national champion, reigning sub-junior national champion Aditya Maan (66kg) and Bronze medallist at the 28th Sub-Junior National Boxing Championship Pradeep (63kg) all had to settle for a bronze medal finish in the end.
