Indian Boxing Contingent Arrive Home from the 2012 London Olympics

MC Mary Kom created Olympic history by becoming the first Indian women boxer to bag a podium finish at the 2012 London Games. After winning the bronze medal at the biggest sporting extravaganza in the world the five time world champion will return to home base, along with other members of the Indian boxing contingent on 14th August 2012. A pioneer in the sport of women’s boxing – which made its Olympic debut this year – the 29 year old capped off a brilliant performance becoming only the third Indian women athlete to win an Olympic medal.
